There is a Good Solution for Women

I always thought males were the only ones that had changes and troubles with their hair. I did not realize that when many women get older, they can suffer a variety of issues, too. While it is true that the average female does not go bald, many experience changes in texture, thinning, bald spots and more. Some of these things were what caused me to need curly hair extensions for myself recently. I am truly grateful that we have something to help us in this day and time.

When I was a very young girl, I had very curly hair. I thought it would always be that way, and so did my parents. They both have curly hair, so it just seemed natural that I would be the same. But as I grew older, the curls relaxed a bit. I did not think too much about it. But later, I had a child. My hair began straightening even more during the pregnancy, and stayed that way for quiet some time. When I had my second child, my hair straightened even more to the point that it was merely wavy. I missed the hair that I had because changes in the way that you look can be hard to accept.

As I grew older, my hair went back to having many curls again. Then, after menopause, my hair began thinning out noticeably, especially around the crown. None of my doctors could tell me what the issue is, but they say that it is very common. They said that women typically do not talk about problems like that, and it is often less noticeable because it isn’t full on balding like so many men have. Fully embarrassed, I went to speak to the stylist who has cut my hair for many years. She said that she could easily offer a solution by putting extensions in my hair. She did just that, and I feel more comfortable with myself again.
