While saving music in digital format , the size of the file is a consideration.  If greater accuracy is required, the size of the music file is usually more and so fewer songs are stored on the music player.

Compared to .wav files, .mp3 files are more suitable for music file storage.  The bit rate should be more than 128, preferably 190 and above.
